FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What time can we arrive at the activity centre?
Arrival and departure times are arranged at the time of booking. Normally, groups arrive between 10am and 5pm.
What time will we have to leave the centre?
The rooms and lodges must be vacated and swept clean by 10am on the day of departure. The group/ seminar rooms can be used until 3pm on the day of departure.
Are groups able to book out the whole activity centre?
Yes, provided that your group size is no less than 100 people. If you come for the weekend, the whole activity centre must be occupied.
Who is responsible for the group?
Throughout the stay, responsibility lies with your accompanying leaders/ helpers. This also applies for the adventure-based learning activities.
Does the centre provide bedding and towels?
Bedding can be borrowed for a fee of €4.50. We ask that you request bedding prior to your stay if your group will need it in larger quantities.
Are there picnic tables on site?
Yes, we provide these for free.
When are meal times?
Our usual meal times are 8am, 12pm and 6pm. These times can be moved later by up to 30 minutes by prior arrangement.
Where can I find the site rules?
You can find the site rules under "Downloads". They will also be sent to you along with your booking contract.
Are pets allowed on site?
Unfortunately, pets are not permitted in our grounds. Exceptions apply for specially trained pets such as guide dogs.
Is there WiFi on site?
Yes, you can use our WiFi hotspot for free.
Is smoking allowed in the grounds?
No. The terms of the Youth Protection Act (Jugendschutzgesetz) apply at the activity centre. Smoking is permitted off site.
Is there on site parking?
There are a limited number of on site parking spaces for both cars and coaches. Find out more under "How to find us & contact info".
What facilities are provided in the kitchens?
You can find detailed information about kitchen facilities under "Downloads". Please remember to bring your own dish soap, dish towels etc.!
